My Story
My name is Jessie Tangie, and the story behind Tangie Table started long before I became a chef.
Growing up, I struggled with my weight and my relationship with food. At my heaviest, I was carrying nearly 100 extra pounds and felt tired, unhealthy, and uncomfortable in my own skin. Everything changed one summer when I traveled to Montreal and stayed with my older sister, Celeste.
She introduced me to a completely different way of living. Every day she trained me, pushed me, and taught me the importance of discipline, nutrition, and consistency. Together we focused on real food, exercise, and building healthy habits. Over that summer, I lost nearly 100 pounds and completely transformed my life.
When I returned home, many of my friends hardly recognized me.
That experience taught me something I have never forgotten: food has the power to change lives.
My passion for cooking grew from that realization. As I continued my fitness journey and became involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I saw how difficult it was for busy people to consistently prepare healthy meals that were both nutritious and enjoyable. Too often, people had to choose between food that was healthy and food that actually tasted good.
That's why I created Tangie Table.
My mission is simple: provide chef-crafted meals made with clean ingredients, high-quality proteins, and bold flavors that help people fuel their goals without sacrificing taste. Every meal is prepared with the same philosophy that helped transform my own life—real food, prepared with care, designed to help people feel their best.
